There’s no magic to what we do. We freely share our formula with our Clients, communities we serve… any entity that desires to enhance the existing health system through participatory action research. Our proficiency in delivering results is derived from our personal, professional and educational diversity, which allows us to appreciate the paradox of health systems improvement.
INFORM
Review internal and external sources to inform project parameters.
We don’t start from scratch in our engagements and we don’t have a preordained list of solutions. Our trained researchers review the literature and organizational history so you don’t reinvent the wheel. This initial stage will acknowledge existing power dynamics that influence the current state and could derail the future state.
INVOLVE
Wherever the voice of the consumer is involved, value is added.
We talk to your consumers using proven qualitative methods like structured interviews, focus groups and surveys informed by Client insights and our literature review. The line of questioning goes beyond satisfaction with your products and services. Meaningful consumer experiences are probed to identify organizational strengths and opportunities.
INTERVENE
Data without intervention is transparency without autonomy.
Industry insights. Client strategy and operational expertise. Amplified consumer voice. Activating each in unison creates a solidarity where collective action can take place for the betterment of the organization and the Community they serve.
IMPROVE
The deliverable is not the improvement: the added capacity to engage is.
The needle on the metric will move with a patient centric, well-executed project. But the long-term success of a CPHC engagement is the Client’s capacity to attend to the patient in the future. The Community’s sense of self-determination, manifested as an activated partner in health and healthcare, makes our job easier.
